This Wednesday will be the epilogue to this chapter. Friday we start Chapter Nine: “Samuel Hall, Part 2.” Get excited!

We had a pretty good, relaxing weekend!  We hit up the Empire Strikes Back Rifftrax (which was very funny), hit up Free Comic Book Day and saw Earth on Saturday with friends Eli and Melissa, then hung out most of today and watched Twilight, with Rifftrax.

First off, let me talk about Saturday. I was really disappointed with Free Comic Book Day.  I went to Meltdown comics and suddenly, it was as if there was a comic czar!  I could choose any three comics, but only those three.  The worst part was that I only really wanted to pick two!  I practically had to force myself to get a third.  Shannon didn’t find any she was interested in.  That is very disappointing to me.  Maybe all the good ones were taken, but from what I’ve seen that wasn’t the case.

If you went to Meltdown to find the Eros Inc. special mini story but didn’t see it, they put it in the “Pay for a minicomic” section of the store, which really pissed me off since I made it specifically to be free.  So I moved them to where they belonged.  If you went to the store and didn’t get one, email me would ya?

Earth was a pretty good movie, but it really was just the re-edited documentary “Planet Earth.” It still managed to make me feel lazy, animals freakin’ STRUGGLE.  I get frustrated when my iPhone isn’t charged.  Elephants go WEEKS without much water.

And Twilight?  Jesus christ guys. I had NO idea it was that bad.  I’m sorry if any of you  are truly fans of it, but I couldn’t help but think it was ridiculous. But then again, it wasn’t for me. The rifftrax really helped though. I’d recommend watching it with that.
