I’m so, so sorry about the lack of updates of Friday. This weekend, as I had mentioned, was my brother’s wedding. I assumed we would have an internet connection, but had assumed incorrectly, seeing as we were not in a real hotel but rather in a large lakeside cabin. The wedding was wonderful, we arrived late last night and I tried to finish as much as I could before jet lag hit me.
But normal updates shall resume.
The wedding was really quite incredible. The entire ceremony, party and events leading up to both ceremony and party took place in Beauford, Georgia (an hour outside Atlanta). Some highlights:
- Passing SCAD Atlanta after landing in Georgia. Since I listen to Seqalab and read a ton of SCAD comics, it made me smile (and yes, I realize that both of those things take place in SCAD Savannah, it still made me smile)
- Playing Golf with my brothers, Greg (the Groom) and David. This was the first time I played for reals and it was a blast. I am not so good at it, but I had “the shot of the day” according to my older brother.
- I was co-Best man and because of this, I was given the honor of handing the rings to the reverend.
- At the rehearsal dinner, Greg told David (who does standup at college) and I that we were doing a half-hour set. So that was my first time doing something resembling stand-up. I had a taste and while it was extremely scary and did not go 100% awesome, it was still really fun. Maybe doing more?
- The entire ceremony and party was fantastic.
- I had way too much fun dancing, partying and being with with my amazing, beautiful, hilarious girlfriend, Shannon. She looked stunning in her dress.
- My older brother looked extremely happy married to his new wife.
So! Congratulations again to Greg and Natalie! I love you both very much.
See you all on Wednesday!

I see what you did thar….
where did you get all the SCAD comics? I go to SCAD savannah as a SEQA major! I love your comic, can’t wait for the next update! =D
@Camille
@Alyssa HA! I listen to Seqalab and I’m pretty much addicted to most of the journal comics I’ve found through it (Kevin Burkhalter’s, Pranas’ Inkdick, Muller’s Daily Odyessy, et al). I’m really flattered you like the comic! I hop you don’t mind, I checked out your work on deviantart, I really dug it.
