I weally, WEALLY enjoy writing and drawing Wallace.

Firsties, to all the new readers that have stumbled my way, welcome! I really appreciate you guys taking the time to check out these characters.  If you’re having trouble figuring out what’s going on, I’d really recommend you start at the beginning of the comic (or at the very least, the beginning of the chapter).  Thanks again for visiting!

Today is going to be one of those days where I send you to other places, because there are a few points of interest I’d like to point out. On your left, you’ll find Instant Classic, a fantastic comic that’s nearing the end of it’s “third” “chapter.”  I’ve been fortunate enough to help write it and I’m really proud of how this story is going to end, so please go check it out.

On your right, you’ll find Dank, a comic on the TellTale games site by Graham Annable. You’d probably recognize his style from Nickolodeon Magazine or Flight: Volume Five (or even the self-produced contributed comic book Hickle), but Dank is a pretty funny strip.  It’s a great strip about a cavemen, the drawings kinetic and colorful, with a funny little twist if you just happen to move your mouse the right way.

And straight ahead, you’ll see Box Brown’s upcoming book “Love is a Peculiar Type of Thing” (which might win “best comic book title of 2009″ from me). If you are unfamiliar with Box Brown, you should rectify this by familiarizing yourself with Bellen, a fantastic comic that really captures thoughts and feelings of what it’s like to be in a relationship.

Box is self-publishing the book (with the help of the Xeric Grant, the only grant to help comic creators publish awesome comics) and will be distributed through Diamond’s catalog.  The problem is that because of how crummy our economy is, Diamond has instated minimum purchase orders and won’t bother shipping small ones (which, in my opinion, is really shooting themselves in the foot, but this isn’t the time for this!).  It’d be pretty awesome if you ask your local comic shops to stock Box Brown’s book “Love is a Peculiar Kind of Thing.”  Or you can talk about it on your blog and promote it too!

BB is a really awesome and talented fellow, and I would really appreciate it if you spread the word.

That’s all from me, see you guys on Monday!
