Let Me Introduce Myself
Man these comics are getting long, huh. I probably could have split this in two, but that’s alright.
I know I’ve been quiet on here lately and I apologize about that. It’s a combination of work and so forth, we celebrated Shannon’s birthday on Tuesday and I’ve just been kinda sick too. So I’ll try to post more with the comic from here on out.
Working on this comic has been incredibly relaxing. I have a good two week (and some change) buffer going, so working at a slower pace has made Eros Inc. and absolute joy. My only wish is that you guys are enjoying it as much as I am. Thanks to those of you who have commented on some of the comics and even emailed me - you guys are great.
I finally sat down to watch True Blood, Alan Ball’s new vampire show and I dig it. The first episode has a lot of exposition to set up - how the world works, who the characters are, what we’re going to be expecting and I think it does a fairly good job of it. It does feel unpolished, which is too bad, but the opening titles are incredible. All in all I’d recommend it, especially coming from a Buffy fan who’s jonesing for a clever vampire show. In that respect, Alan Ball succeeds.

My sister really digs the books that show is based on.

@heather really? I’ve heard mixed things. I kinda want to read the books but I’m afraid they’ll ruin the show for me…

I suppose that is a possibility… I read the first book and it was like a romance novel with vampires and mind readers. Maybe see if the show takes off, the books will always be there.
